The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, on Monday, held a strategic meeting with key facility managers of the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History to assess the facility’s state and ensure optimal readiness ahead of the December festive season.
The meeting, which took place at the J. Randle Centre, was also attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila; the Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mr Taoreed Dosunmu; and the Director of the Facility Management Department, Mr Abimbola Ogunshote.
They were joined by the Chief Executive Officer of KHC Global Services, Mrs Jumoke Ayeni; the Chief Executive Officer of Super Cleaning and Facility Management, Mrs Toyin Fashola, and the Co-Partner of Super Cleaning and Facility Management, Mrs Yewande Soyannwo.
Discussions during the meeting centred on maintaining world-class facility standards, ensuring the Centre remains safe, clean, and fully operational for both local and international tourists and enhancing the overall visitor experience. The session also focused on aligning operational strategies with the Ministry’s vision of promoting Lagos as a top cultural and tourism destination in Africa.
The Commissioner emphasised the importance of proactive maintenance, excellent service delivery, and collaborative effort in keeping the J. Randle Centre, in pristine condition for the public, especially during the festive period when visitor traffic is expected to increase significantly.
