The Fusengbuwa Ruling House has submitted names of its sons it adjudged suitable for consideration for the stool of Awujale of Ijebuland to the kingmakers.
The submission was at the Awujale’s Palace on Monday January 19,2026 to the kingmakers through Chief Folorunso Sunny Kuku (Ilamuren), and Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland who also heads the interim administrative body set up for the town by the Ogun State Government after the demise of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona Ogbagba II.
at the Awujale’s Palace, Ijebu Ode.
The event followed Nomination and screening of aspirants to the foremost throne of Ijebuland carried out by the family earlier in the month.
The kingmakers will now pick the preferred candidate and forward to the Government through the Ijebu Ode Local Government and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Ogun State for ‘further necessarily actions ‘.
