Beloved family, friends, brethren, and well-wishers across Nigeria and the world,
To God alone be the glory!
Last Saturday, the Lord honoured us beyond measure at the wedding of our daughter Shiloh and her beloved Ehizogie. What we declared prophetically as “The Day Before the Miraculous” became, indeed, a manifestation of divine joy, favour, and unity.
Today, we pause to return all glory to God and to appreciate every one of you who made this celebration a success in one way or another by your prayers, presence, gifts, service, calls, messages, sacrifices, or simply by holding us in your hearts.
From the first greetings at dawn to the joy-filled gathering at dusk, God crowned every moment with grace.
Just as the wedding in Cana of Galilee became the stage of divine revelation because honour was given to Christ, so did your love, support, and presence create an atmosphere where God Himself took His rightful place. And truly, the miraculous began.
A Yoruba Family and an Esan Family — One in Christ
We thank God who made the union between the Akinyemis of Egba Ake, Ogun State (South West)
and the Otoibhi family of Esanland, Edo State (South South)
a testimony of harmony, beauty, and divine purpose.
Here, we echo the eternal truth of Scripture:
“For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us… to create in Himself one new man, so making peace.” — Ephesians 2:14–15
What God did between our families stands as a prophetic witness to what He desires for Nigeria:
That in love, we become one people.
That in grace, we break down the walls.
That in Christ, tribe meets tribe and finds peace.
May the same love that joined our children bind the tribes of Nigeria.
May the grace that made two families one become the grace that heals our nation.
May the joy that flowed like new wine in our celebration flow into every corner of our land.
Our Deep Appreciation
To every politician who crossed party lines to stand with us on the side of nation-building,
to every pastor who laid aside denominational boundaries for the sake of national purpose,
to every friend, associate, brother, sister, neighbour, colleague, and well-wisher who rose above personal limitations to share in the joy of our day:
Thank you.
We see you.
We value you.
We honour you.
May the God of new beginnings honour you in return with joy, peace, and abundant grace.
A New Beginning for Nigeria
As we prayed over Shiloh and Ehizogie, so we declare again over our beloved nation:
In love alone will One Nigeria be possible.
In Christ alone is our unity a reality.
We welcome Nigeria into this testimony of oneness.
From our family to yours,
from our hearts to the heart of the nation,
we speak life:
Maranatha, Nigeria.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
With love and gratitude,
Citizen Bolaji O. Akinyemi
Apostle & Nation Builder
For the Akinyemis and Otoibhi Family.
