Many of these entities are actively adopting renewable energy systems, namely solar farms, wind turbines, and energy-efficient power plants, to meet their electricity needs while reducing their carbon footprint. This transition, driven by the ECN’s robust policies and advocacy, highlights the readiness of businesses and institutions to embrace self-reliance in energy while contributing to Nigeria’s broader goal of environmental sustainability. By implementing renewable energy initiatives championed by the ECN, these organisations are not only lessening the burden on the national grid but also demonstrating the viability of decentralised power generation as a long-term strategy for national development.
