Try to imagine this seemingly ‘impossible’ scenario – Usain Bolt and Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce, the two fastest humans in history, on a visit to Nigeria to inspire a whole new generation of young student/athletes; to create a bridge between blood- relations separated by the Slave trade at a time in human history; and to promote socio-cultural, educational and sports exchanges between across the Atlantic.
Such thoughts may not be farfetched for too long any more. Infact, ‘impossibility’ no longer exists as far as what is already being planned as model for an authentic grassroots Athletics development in Africa, is concerned
