It is no longer news that the highly anticipated 2023 Governorship and state house of assembly election was conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission across the country on Saturday.
28 governorship position was contested by different political parties.
Following the conduct of the polls, results of the election are being collated.
Adamawa state is among the states that the result has not been called by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
According to reports, only one local government result is being awaited before the winner would be declared.
There has been accusations between the Progressive Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dino Melaye has accused the All Progressive Congress of trying to manipulate the final results.
Dino Melaye made the allegations through his Facebook page as he shared video of helicopters hovering around Adamawa state.
“APC determined to fraudulently take over Adamawa State by Force. Soldiers on the street, policemen firing tear gas at innocent citizens. Amoured tanks deployed all over. President Buhari can still avert this catastrophe. Declare PDP and rightly so. SDM” he said.
