A woman whose courage has earned her over 948 awards both in Nigeria and across the world, including the prestigious International Women of Courage Award in 2013, Presented by former First Lady Michelle Obama in the United States of America.
She has been imprisoned 17 times for standing against injustice — not for social media clout or personal gain, but for the freedom and dignity of the Nigerian people. While some use activism for influence and profit, Dr. Joe has paid the price with her freedom, her comfort, and her life.
You are indeed a role model to this generation: a beacon of integrity, sacrifice, and resilience.
