Many are wondering who wins the brewing political fight
between Presidential Chief of staff Femi Gbajabiamila and his protege. Nollywood actor turned politician Desmond Elliot.
And it is for the soul of Surulere Lagos constituency 1.
Elliot earlier got the full support for his past 3 terms and now plotting for a 4th term at Lagos House while his former Oga, Gbajabiamila thinks otherwise.
At first, a group released a statement saying Desmond delivered nothing since being at Lagos House except building toilets.
Elliot cited experience as strongest points.
Then photos of Gbaja seemingly endorsing former SA to Lagos governor Hon Barakat Adenuga surfaced
Then Elliot declared in a flamboyant manner citing experience and rallying through his constituency.
Statement from his camp citing overbearing interference by a certain big wig also surfaced.
Now will Elliot go the way of Ambode whom Lagos APC elders said no but he continued to wax until the open primaries when an order from above charged everything?
Time will tell.
