CHIEF Robert Adeyinka Adebayo, Major-General (retd), former Western governor, was the seventh member (7th) of the indigenous officer corps of the Nigerian Army, after it evolved from the RWAFF. He passed on on Wednesday March 8, 2017, exactly at the age of 89. A native of Iyin Ekiti.

His Imperial Majesty (HIM)Ọba Sikiru Kayọde Adetọn was the Awùjalẹ̀ of the Ijẹbu Kingdom, a traditional state in Nigeria. He was installed as the king on 2 April 1960, which made him one of the longest reigning monarchs in Nigeria. Adetona was a member of the House of Anikinaiya.
