Owo Kingdom stood tall in pride and promise as the Ondo State Government, under the leadership of the Governor ,His Excellency, (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,officially commissioned the Alpha Shea Integrated Producing Limited-a landmark industrial venture poised to redefine economic growth in the area.
Represented at the historic event by his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni, the Governor lauded the visionary leadership of Chief Rotimi Ibidapo, OON, whose unwavering commitment to development has once again translated into tangible progress.
Describing the multi-million naira investment as both timely and transformative, Adelami emphasized its strategic importance in strengthening the state’s economic backbone and empowering its youthful population.
The presence of the revered Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, alongside other traditional rulers from Owo Local Government Area, added cultural prestige to the occasion.
In his royal remarks, Olowo extolled Chief Ibidapo’s enduring dedication to the advancement of Owo Kingdom, noting that the project reflects a forward-thinking vision anchored in prosperity and communal upliftment.
Earlier, while addressing dignitaries and guests, Chief Ibidapo outlined the far-reaching impact of the factory.
With an immediate capacity to employ over 300 youths directly and create indirect opportunities for more than 5,000 individuals, the Alpha Shea facility stands as a beacon of hope in tackling unemployment and stimulating local enterprise.
He reaffirmed his resolve to remain at the forefront of initiatives that drive sustainable development-not just in Owo, but across Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
