IGP Olatunji Disu personally met with aggrieved former police officers who had come to protest at the Force Headquarters in Abuja over outstanding payments.
Immediately IGP Disu got to hear about the protest, he requested for a meeting with the agitators. The meeting ended with good reception from the retired policemen who even unanimously agreed to halt their campaign to face the Presidential villa tomorrow because the IGP requested them to allow him to escalate their request and grievances to the President himself and they obliged.
