General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched a comprehensive plan to manage the expected increase in visitors during the final 10 days of Ramadan.
Authorities are using IoT technology, color-coded screens, and interactive maps to monitor crowd density and guide worshippers inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The plan also includes expanded maintenance services and dedicated logistical and medical support for worshippers observing itikaf.
