Chief Ostia Chidoka Has Some Words Regarding Those Who Say They are Not Igbo .
Ikwere Born FCT minister , Nyesom Wike without being asked has said that he is not an Igbo man .
The honest truth is that Ndi Igbo are not recruiting people, we are enough.
Former Minister for Aviation , Chief Osita Chidoka however has some regarding Wike’s statement.
He wrote;
“Anyone who says he is not Igbo is not Igbo. Igbo is not only an ethnic identity; it is also a way of life.
Igbo is about respect for truth in the face of personal loss, discretion in word and conduct, loyalty to community and benefactors and respect for wealth from enterprise.
The Igbo instinctively frowns and rejects avarice, disrespect for people – big and small, and one-man show.
So, if Nyesom Wike says he is not Igbo. I agree with him, and there is no need to argue because Igbo is beyond proclamation and geography; it is also a set of attributes and lived experiences. I am Igbo.”
Chief Osita Chidoka appointed Nigerian Minister for aviation on 23rd July, 2014 by President Goodluck Johnathan .
It’s an open secret that he is the anointed successor to Governor Chukwuma Soludo and I don’t see him as a bad option.
