In what many see as a prelude of what is to come , Six members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defecting lawmakers are:
1. Hon. Muktar Nasir Kaura (Kaura North)
2. Hon. Nasiru Abdullahi Maru (Maru North)
3. Hon. Amiru Ahmad Keta (Tsafe West)
4. Hon. Bashar Aliyu Gummi (Gummi 1 Constituency)
5. Barr. Bashir Abubakar Masama (Bukkuyum North)
6. Hon. Bashir Bello (Bungudu West)
