Some have called him a Tinubu mole in PDP.
Not true.
Many say he’s just a noise maker.
Not true.
Many things have been said about him, at it all, everyone chose to forget that he has always played opposition with a sincerity of purpose.
He went round all the PDP won states, post election in 2023 to personally thank the electorate.
No one talks about that.
He tried everything humanly possible to keep PDP intact. Wike felt he was trying to crack him open for Atiku, Atiku felt he was selling him to Wike, meanwhile, he was just trying to let both sides see the gulf that was developing within the party, which if not managed well, spelt doom for PDP.
Today, is he not right?
Everyone ignores that.
There are other privileged information I have that I can’t divulge carelessly here.
My point is simple, PDP stopped playing opposition meaningfully.
Labor Party, through Peter Obi didn’t even try to play opposition at all, it only thrived on badmouthing the country internationally, running it down, which makes one wonder what he sincerely feels the international body thinks of him.
What did Otunba Segun Showunmi (OSS) do in opposition with his baby, The Alternative Movement, he gave credit where it is due, he criticized appropriately, and read this slowly from here, proffered solutions, workable solutions along side his criticisms.
OSS is basically telling the next generation, his generation, our generation, and the younger generation that the era of pure lies and propaganda that even the current president, PBAT rode on for years are over. The era of pure hatred of the country and unintelligent condemnation of same is over too.
In its stead, is opposition based on facts and figures. Opposition that has the best practice in mind, and looks at issues from the stand point of where we are at, what we are doing right, and should continue to build on, and those areas we need to scale up, to meet international standards.
Gone are the days of shouting for the fun of it.
It’s all about logical reasoning now.
Join the movement.
To scale governance up, to march global standards.
Join OSS to rationally move the country forward.
