O God who sees the end from the beginning, we come to You with hearts laid bare, knowing that before ballots are cast and before verdicts are declared, You alone rule over outcomes.
Nigeria is bleeding quietly.
Families are breaking under the weight of hunger.
Young people are losing faith in tomorrow.Old men and women are praying prayers they never thought they would have to pray again.
In this season of confusion and fatigue, we bring before You a man, Atiku Abubakar, and we ask You to look upon him with mercy and favour, and to perfect his journey to victory according to Your will.
Your Word says, “The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee.”
Lord, this is our day of trouble.
Hear us.
Defend Atiku.
Defend his purpose, his resolve, his health, and his heart.Defend him from, misrepresentation, from weariness of spirit, from the quiet discouragement that comes when the burden of many rests on one soul.
Defend his mandate from distortion, his votes from manipulation, and his path from sabotage.
Send him help from Your sanctuary, help that does not bargain, help that does not betray, help that does not flee when the night grows long, and help that stands firm until victory is secured.
Go before him, O Lord, as You have promised:
“For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness.”
Prepare doors he cannot open by himself.Soften hearts he cannot persuade by argument.Let favour rest upon him, not as entitlement, but as divine assignment.Let the outcome of the contest reflect Your counsel, not human schemes.
If You must place a crown upon his head, let it be a crown of service.Let it be heavy with responsibility and light with pride.Let it be worn with humility, compassion, and fear of God.Let his victory be clean, convincing, and anchored in Your righteousness.
