Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,opened the JRandle Centre for Yoruba Culture and Heritage’s museum to the public. The museum is now live for the general public.
Governor Sanwo-Olu cares about the culture and traditions of the Yoruba and this is one of the many ways he’s working to preserve and promote our cultural identity.
Lagos is undoubtedly a Yoruba enclave and efforts must be made to promote our “Yorubaness” hence the setting up of this centre.
Located in the heart of Onikan, which itself is a historical hub, the JRandle centre has an array of facilities including library, shopping malls, swimming pools, amphitheater, conference rooms, digital research centre etc.
with the opening of the Museum, our children can learn more about who we are as a people and how we’ve evolved over time into what where we are today.
He also appointed Mr. Kudus Onikeku as the Director of the centre.
