“It’s a Man’s (Man’s) World”
I apologise to all Nigerian women!
Last week we reported that Nigerian women are the biggest ‘cheaters’ in the world – 62% of them!
We were wrong!!!
A different report now reveals that 90% of Nigerian men ‘cheat’ at one point or another in relationships!
During the live show at the Sports Lounge, the male-dominated audience, from their contributions, almost concluded that the word ‘cheat’ should be erased from the Nigerian lexicon. And that since ‘cheating’ has become a norm and a consensual act between 2 adults, society should free itself from the burden of an unrealistic and unenforceable characterisation by foreign influences.
On the eve of a new year, this Thursday night, on a special edition of ‘It’s a Man’s (Man’s) World, the discourse is stretched farther. Men ask themselves some deeper questions:
Which is better – to legally marry more than one wife, or legally be allowed to keep a mistress(es)? Can any lessons be taken from the pages of history, culture, traditions, and even holy literature and applied here? Or should each man freely choose an option as their human nature demands without any recriminations (which is more the practise now)?
Tough questions.
This Thursday, in a special New Year edition, 3 gentlemen with different relationship-experiences share their views with a LIVE public audience on which is the least of the several ‘evils’?
Or is there another option?
