In the tradition of telling my own story, let me tell you a little about yesterday. I spent the day in Ibadan, part of a group of Yoruba elders in ARG, the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation that met to welcome back their member from his service to government, discuss a little about the state of the nation, and share communion with a lunch feast.
Our host, the immediate past Minister and former Governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, JKF, looked very well for a man who had just survived the turbulence of the difficult transition between governments.
It was great to return to the conversations that serve as some compass into the future of the Yoruba in a new and uncertain dispensation, strategising on charting a way forward.
