Nigeria is currently hosting a major international conference of the Muslim World League – رابطة العالم الإسلامي (MWL) in Abuja, bringing together distinguished Islamic scholars, Traditional rulers, Governors, members of the National Assembly, senior Federal Government officials, APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda and other prominent leaders from across Nigeria and beyond.
The conference is being hosted under the leadership of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (Jibwis Nigeria), led by Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau.
The gathering focuses on important issues including peace, security, national unity, religious harmony, peaceful coexistence and the fight against extremism, with the aim of strengthening understanding, cooperation and stability.
The event is taking place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, with the participation of the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, alongside other distinguished personalities.
