Jumu’ah Mubarak to everyone. Welcome to another blessed Friday—a day of mercy, forgiveness, answered prayers, and abundant blessings. May Allah (SWT) accept our acts of worship, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us peace in this life and the Hereafter.
This Friday, however, my heart is heavy. Rather than writing my usual message, I dedicate today’s Jumu’ah to the memory of our beloved brother, Comrade Toba Ajiboye, whom Almighty Allah has called back to Himself.
We pray that Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgives all his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, expands and illuminates his grave, grants him ease in the questioning of the grave, and admits him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus without reckoning. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
We also pray for the family, friends, colleagues, and everyone he left behind. May Allah grant you all strength, patience, and the fortitude to bear this painful loss. May He comfort your hearts, replace your grief with His mercy, and continue to protect and provide for you.
Indeed, “To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
Jumu’ah Mubarak. May Allah answer our prayers and shower His mercy upon us all. Ameen.
