The family of the late Barrister Olusegun Awolowo Jr., grandson of late sage, Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, has announced a three-day burial program in honour of the late public figure.
Awolowo passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 aged 62.
Family, friends and associates will be paying final respects and tributes to the memory of the late former Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council through each event.
According to the funeral details, a Night of Tributes is scheduled for Monday, December 1 at Harbour Point, Victoria Island. Invited guests are to wear white or silver colours.
On Wednesday, December 3, a Wake-Keeping Service will also hold at Harbour Point. Colour code for the day is ‘shades of green’.
The final farewell will take place on Friday, December 5, with a Funeral Service at Our Saviour’s Church, Ikoyi, Lagos. Colour code for the day is ‘shades of blue’.
