Hon. Seyi Jakande, Executive Chairman of Òdì-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), paid a solemn visit to the residence of the late Prince Bayo Osiyemi on Monday, November 24, to offer condolences to the bereaved family and supporters of the esteemed political icon.
Prince Bayo Osiyemi, a former Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Matters to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Chairman of Mushin Local Government, and a veteran journalist, passed away earlier today, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication.
During his visit, Hon. Jakande expressed profound sorrow over Prince Bayo Osiyemi’s demise, highlighting his remarkable contributions to Lagos State’s development, media, and public service. “Prince Bayo Osiyemi was a dedicated leader, a pillar of integrity, and a passionate advocate for our cultural heritage and community welfare. His work as a journalist, government official, and community leader has left an indelible mark,” Hon. Jakande stated.
Hon. Jakande, on behalf of Òdì-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, extended heartfelt sympathies to Prince Bayo Osiyemi’s family, friends, and colleagues, praying for comfort and strength during this period of mourning. “We urge the community to honour his memory by continuing acts of service and goodwill. May his soul rest in peace,” he said.
