The case, being heard before Justice Silvanus Oriji at the High Court sitting in Maitama, centres on allegations by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited that Jordan collected $2.1 million to facilitate the allocation of 60 hectares of land in Abuja.
The claimants allege that they approached Jordan for assistance in securing 30 hectares in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape. According to their account, their relationship began during a meeting in London before they subsequently met in Abuja.
They further allege that Jordan demanded $2 million allegedly intended for his father and an additional $100,000 as his personal fee.
The claimants told the court that the money was allegedly handed over on September 26, 2025, in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani, while Jordan was accompanied by one Onor Sandy.
But the transaction allegedly produced no land allocation or refund, with the claimants alleging that Jordan later became unreachable.
Jordan has strongly denied the allegations, insisting that he had no such dealings or interaction with the claimants.
During cross-examination by the claimants’ lawyer, Ibrahim G. Waru, Jordan made a crucial claim: he was not in Nigeria on September 26, 2025, the date on which the claimants say the money was handed to him in Abuja.
