Chief Bode George, former military governor of Ondo State, has stated that he once worked closely with a president of Nigeria
In an interview with The Legacy Series, George said he even sat in the president’s bedroom discussing and planning important national matters.
George stated that he has also been imprisoned in the past. He said he does not see his imprisonment as a punishment because the Supreme Court later cleared him of all the charges against him.
In George’s words: “I had been at the topmost echelon working with the big boss, the president of this country. I have sat in the bedroom of the president of Nigeria, planning, talking, doing this and that. And I have also seen the walls of the cell, the worst valley. It is not a punishment, I didn’t see it as a punishment”
