The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna as the winner of the party’s governorship primary election in Gombe State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Gwamna secured a sweeping victory after polling a total of 247,161 votes, defeating his closest challengers, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, who scored 12,120 votes, and former Minister of Transportation, Said Ahmed Alkali, who polled 11,612 votes.

1. Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna — 247,161 votes
2. Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami — 12,120 votes
3. Sen. Said Ahmed Alkali — 11,612 votes.
