The Igbo Community Stakeholders, Lagos State Chapter, issue this statement to express serious concerns over ongoing commercial disputes involving Igbo-owned businesses, including Nestoil, and Mr. Femi Otedola, particularly in matters linked to financial institutions operating in Lagos.

Members of the Igbo business community have reported experiences suggesting the use of excessive commercial pressure and institutional influence in the handling of these disputes.

These reports have raised concerns about fairness, due process, and respect for indigenous business ownership.

We state clearly that:
• No individual or entity is above the law
* Nigeria’s business environment must remain fair and rules-based
* Commercial disputes should be resolved through lawful negotiation, arbitration, or the courts

We respectfully call for:
• Restraint in the use of influence or institutional power
* Transparent and fair engagement with Igbo-owned businesses
* A peaceful, structured, and lawful resolution of all disputes

This statement is not a threat. It is a call for dialogue, fairness, and due process.

The Igbo Community Stakeholders reserve the right to pursue lawful collective actions, including regulatory engagement and public advocacy, if concerns persist.
