ADC Take Note
After the sham electoral bill was signed into law today by Tinubu, let’s make one thing very clear as we move closer to the 2027 election:
1. Nobody in the opposition should be ready to go to court after the 2027 election if the APC rigs the election using state apparatus and government machinery.
That will be a total waste of time and resources. We must be ready to recover the people’s mandate through other legitimate means. Not through th courts.
2. The opposition must be ready to match APC toe to toe, whether through rigging, thuggery, or whatever is needed. APC does not have a monopoly on madness.
3. The opposition must have a standby ground force (AKA thugs) in strategic states where APC will be marshaling out its thugs. E.g., Lagos, Edo, Rivers, etc.
4. The era of “we no de give shishi” is over. Anybody in the opposition who wants to replace Tinubu must be ready to bring out money. Raw cash is needed to make it work. All of Atiku, Peter Obi, El-Rufai, Amaechi, Tambuwal, etc., must be ready to bring out the billions.
5. To unseat Tinubu, a candidate with the capacity to do so must be presented. This is not a matter of southern or northern turn. What we need now is who can win, not who can contest. A consensus candidate should be agreed upon even if primaries must be staged.
This is what APC did in 2015 by presenting Buhari because he had the capacity to win and he won.
6. Any ADC presidential aspirant who’s not ready to spend raw cash in billions and defend the votes with whatever it takes should just sit at home and not waste our time. The 2027 election will not be for gentlemen. It will be for men who are ready for every every, like Tinubu. In 2027, we don’t need saints.
7. The Nigerian people are with us. God is with us. Our ancestors are with us. The universe is with us.
Let’s get to work and make this count.
