Event over the years has established his incompetency and as a result, as a poor executive governor there are strong indication that he will struggle to adapt to the senate’s collaborative environment or prioritize constituent interests over personal agendas which will be a major setback for Ogun East.
What to look for:
Accountability : Has Dapo Abiodun as the incumbent taken responsibility for his failures and have any report of transparency and accountability? The answer is not far fetch! Capital No!
Adaptability: Can Dapo who has failed to understand the rudiments of government as a Governor for over 7 years adjust to new roles and responsibilities if given the opportunity to be at the Senate?
Vision: Does Dapo Abiodun have a clear plan for representing constituents’ interests? There are no such indications.
Ultimately, Ogun East voters must carefully consider a candidate’s track record, leadership style, and vision for the future. A poor executive governor like Dapo Abiodun can not be a better option compared to the track record, leadership style and vision of the Senator, H.E Otunba Gbenga Daniel who is currently serving his people very efficiently.
