This historic recognition has now been officially entered into the Congressional Record of the United States House of Representatives. In addition, Bishop Ellis received the Keys to the Cities of Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami-Dade, North Miami, and North Miami Beach.
As if that were not enough, he was also inducted into the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project and delivered the official keynote address for the award ceremony, charging the room with vision, courage, and generational purpose.
When he declared, “If you hold power, use it to open doors, because access is the new civil right,” the room erupted in agreement. Heads nodded. Voices affirmed. It carried authority.
In a deeply moving tribute, Bishop Ellis honored his wife, Patrice, his pillar of strength, along with his children, his church family, the global spiritual community, and the 40+ member Bahamian delegation who traveled to Miami Beach to witness this sacred milestone.
This was not just a ceremony.
It was history.
It was legacy.
It was Kingdom.
We celebrate you, Bishop. You are a gift to this generation, a prophetic voice for our time, and a treasure to the Kingdom.
