The 17th edition of the prestigious Best of Nollywood Awards (BON Awards) 2025 was hosted at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, Iganmu, Surulere, Lagos, on Sunday, 14th December, 2025.
The glamorous event was attended by the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, alongside the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Bopo Oyekan-Ismaila, and other distinguished dignitaries, industry stakeholders, and leading figures from Nigeria’s vibrant entertainment sector.
The evening was a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and artistic excellence, as outstanding practitioners across the Nollywood value chain were recognised for their contributions to the growth and development of the industry.
Awards were presented in several competitive categories, including Best Actor and Actress, Best Director, Best Costume Design, and Best Child Actor and Actress, among others, honouring exceptional talent, innovation, and professionalism that continue to shape and elevate Nollywood on both local and global stages.
