Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) being installed as the Oluomo of Iyin-Ekiti by the Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, Oba Adeola Adeniyi Ajakaiye (The Oyinyosaye III) at his palace on Saturday during the 2025 Iyin-Ekiti Day Celebration. The installation offered him by the Oluyin-in-Council and entire Iyin-Ekiti Kingdom is in recognition of his various contributions to the development of his birthplace.
Also installed at the ceremony is the , Sen Jubrin Barau, as the Agba Akin of Iyin-Ekiti, Sen. Jide Ipinshagba, as Aare Bobagunwa of Iyin-Ekiti, Hon. (Engr.) Remi Oseni, as Aare Bobajiroro of Iyin-Ekiti and Otunba Niyi Adebayo, as the Asiwaju of Iyin-Ekiti.
Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele, who expressed appreciation to the people of his hometown for the traditional title, said it is the first he would receive such in his over three decades through public offices. He noted that the recognition would spur him to do more for the community and humanity at large.
