Chief Obasi Lawson, owner of SOBAZ Oil and Gas and PETROAN’s Board of Trustees Chairman, was k!dnapp3d in Azumini, Abia State, after gunmen ambushed his SUV on Tuesday. The attack left his driver, Anayo Ukwu, and aide, Mazi Confidence Chijioke, d3ad, while three police escorts reportedly escaped.
PETROAN has called on the Inspector General of Police to intervene and investigate the fleeing officers.
