There is a peculiar kind of silence in the homes of struggling Nigerians today , the silence that comes after hunger has eaten through the walls of dignity and reduced entire families into shadows of themselves. The silence of fathers who can no longer provide, mothers who disguise tears as sweat, and children who sleep not because they are tired, but because sleep is cheaper than food.
This silence, heavy like a funeral dirge, was composed by the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is the soundtrack of a nation betrayed , a nation where hunger is no longer a symptom of poverty, but the very language of governance. And the tragedy of this silence is that it echoes across ethnic lines, from the swamps of the Niger Delta to the dusty streets of Kano, from the bustling corners of Onitsha to the serene plains of Ekiti.
In 2027, this silence must be broken. Support Atiku now , not just as a political choice, but as a survival strategy, a desperate rescue from the mismanagement, misadventure, and malignant malfeasance of APC.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau warned us long ago that “The body politic, like the human body, begins to die as soon as it is born if it carries within itself the seeds of its own destruction.” APC was not just unprepared to govern, it was genetically incapable of doing so. From day one, it replaced governance with guesswork, policy with propaganda, and leadership with loot-sharing.
But Nigeria is too important, too vast, and too complex to be left to the fumbling hands of political apprentices. We need a builder, a thinker, a doer , and in Atiku Abubakar, we have all three. Support Atiku now, because hunger will not wait for your doubts to clear.
Let me tell you the story of Mallam Bako, a groundnut farmer in Kano, who once fed his family with pride. Every season, his farm yielded enough to fill his children’s plates and send them to school with something in their stomachs. But today, Bako’s plates are empty, his dreams are dry, and his farm is a burial ground for seeds that refuse to grow under APC’s toxic economic climate.
Bako is not alone. His story is the story of Madam Ngozi, a widow in Anambra whose petty trade collapsed under the weight of multiple taxes and inflation. It is the story of Abdullahi, a graduate in Lagos, who holds two degrees but cannot hold a job. This is not governance; this is economic terrorism disguised as democracy.
Atiku is the antidote ,not because he is a messiah, but because he understands the science of governance. In a nation where poverty has become generational inheritance, Atiku offers a different kind of inheritance: prosperity built on deliberate policy, not accidental luck.
Confucius teaches us that “Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation, there is sure to be failure.” APC failed because they never prepared to govern; they only prepared to win elections. Atiku, on the other hand, has spent decades preparing for the leadership Nigeria desperately needs , studying economies, building businesses, negotiating across divides, and learning from both successes and failures.
When you support Atiku, you are not just choosing a man ,you are choosing a plan. A plan to revive the economy, create jobs, restore security, unify our broken nation, and return dignity to governance.
Let us be blunt ,APC is not interested in solving hunger. They are merchants of misery, trading your poverty for their power. As long as you are hungry, you are weak; and as long as you are weak, you cannot resist their tyranny. They need you poor, so you can sell your vote for a bag of rice.
But Atiku offers something different , he offers you economic freedom, not seasonal palliatives. As Karl Marx once said, “The production of too many useful things results in too many useless people.” Under APC, wealth is monopolised by the few, while millions are reduced to beggars.
Atiku’s vision is an economy where hard work pays, where opportunities are not hoarded by the elite, and where no Nigerian goes to bed hungry.
History is watching us. Just as it watched Nigerians reject military dictatorship in 1999, history is waiting to see if we will reject APC’s civilian dictatorship in 2027. Atiku is not asking for blind support , he asks for your partnership in rebuilding a nation that APC has vandalised.
As Thomas Paine once said, “The duty of a true patriot is to protect his country from its government.” Supporting Atiku is not about party loyalty; it is about patriotism , a duty to rescue Nigeria from those who treat power like personal inheritance.
Atiku does not see the presidency as a throne to mount, but a cross to carry. He understands that leadership is sacrifice ,the sacrifice of comfort for service, the sacrifice of popularity for principle, the sacrifice of personal ambition for national progress.
In Atiku, we find a rare combination of vision, competence, and compassion ,a leader who believes that governance should put food on your table, not slogans on your wall.
Support Atiku now. This is not an endorsement , it is a plea for survival. If hunger has knocked on your door, if poverty has slept in your bed, if insecurity has chased you from your home, then you already know the truth: APC cannot and will not save you.
