The Ijaw National Congress (INC) has set up a national burial committee to ensure a befitting farewell for the late Chief (Dr.) E.K. Clark, a renowned elder statesman and former Minister in the First Republic.
The committee, constituted by the President of Congress, Prof. Benjamin Okaba, comprises 17 members from various walks of life.

– *Chairman:* Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs
– *Vice Chairman:* Chief Fredrick E. Owotorufa
– *Secretary:* Dr. Ayakeme E. Whisky
– *Other notable members:* Dr. Alfred Mulade, Princess (Mrs.) Adesola Ebiseni, and High Chief Philip Brown Agu, among others
The committee’s inauguration date and venue will be announced in due course.
The INC has assured that the burial ceremony will be a celebration of Chief Clark’s life and legacy, reflecting his immense contributions to the Ijaw nation and Nigeria as a whole.
