Governor Biodun Oyebanji has outlined the outcome of his recent working visit to Abuja, where he held crucial meetings aimed at advancing Ekiti State’s development.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, the governor detailed his engagements, including a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
“Mr. President has been a pillar of support for our administration. His economic policies have greatly accelerated sustainable growth and development in Ekiti State, and we remain grateful to him,” Oyebanji wrote.
The governor also recounted his visit to the Ministry of Education, where he met with Honourable Minister, Dr. Olatunji Alausa to discuss ways to improve education in the state.
“Education remains the cornerstone of our administration’s vision. We are committed to ensuring our children have access to quality learning that prepares them for a brighter future,” he stated.
At the Ministry of Works, Oyebanji engaged Honourable Minister, Engr. Dave Umahi and Permanent Secretary, Engr. Funsho Adebiyi on the condition of federal roads in Ekiti.
“Improving road infrastructure is non-negotiable for boosting connectivity, easing transportation, and unlocking economic potential. We have charted a clear course for achieving these goals,” he wrote.
The governor also met with Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, to discuss joint efforts to uplift vulnerable groups in the state.
“Our discussions centred on innovative strategies to provide opportunities and empower citizens through targeted interventions. We are determined to ensure no one is left behind,” Oyebanji noted.
Concluding the post Governor Oyebanji emphasized his administration’s commitment to impactful governance.
“Leadership demands focus, hard work, and results. We will continue to work tirelessly to secure the partnerships and resources necessary to deliver on our promises. Together, we will build the Ekiti of our dreams, an Ekiti that works for all,” he wrote.
