The hub is the largest of its kind in Sub-Sahara Africa, and it is aimed at helping the State Government to control prices of food, promote food production and preservation, price control and generally ensure food security in the State.
This project will also remove activities of middlemen, supply directly to the market and ensure food security for the State.
This Project is the bedrock of the 5-Year Agricultural & Food Systems Road Map (2021-2025), launched by Mr Governor in April 2021 and should be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2025.
