The management of Access bank, has alerted the general public to the fake news circulating on social media that 500 million was missing from customers account.
The bank has refuted allegation of the missing money via statement on its social media on Sunday24/11/24.
According to the management of access bank, they maintained there is no 500 million or any other fund or amount missing from the subject customers account or any other account with them, that the allegation is baseless and untrue.
They stated that Access bank and independent stakeholders in the banking industry have thoroughly investigated the allegation and independently arrived at the same conclusion.
Access bank noted that the safety and security of customers fund is their priority and does not engaged or condone any unethical behaviour in its operations.
