The Minority Leader of the 9th Senate, attended the FCT PDP State Party Congress held at Apo Town Hall in Abuja. The congresses marked a new dawn for the party and the inauguration of new state party executives led by Hon. Isma’il Muhammad Dogara as the State party Chairman and Hon. Robo Iyah Lucky as State Secretary.
In a special recognition, the outgoing Secretary of the party, Hon. Bako Angulu presented an award of honor to Princes Hauwa Philip Aduda, wife of Senator Aduda, for her exceptional contributions to the party. The award was initiated by late Hon. Sunday Zakka, former FCT State Chairman.
Senator Aduda expressed gratitude to the Minister of FCT, Barr. Nyesom-Wike, for creating a conducive environment for the party’s activities in the FCT. He praised the minister’s efforts in providing a supportive “ambiance” for the smooth running of the party.
The inauguration of the new executives signals a new chapter for the FCT PDP, with a rejuvenated energy focused on unity and victory in upcoming elections.
With the new executives in place, the FCT PDP is poised for a strong opposition to the ruling party in future elections.
