Professor Wole Soyinka was born 13th July 1934 in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria.
Education: Abeokuta Grammar School, Government College Ibadan, (1946 – 1952), HORTCONSORTIA University of Ibadan, (1952–1954), Education: University of Leeds (1954–1957).
“Wole Soyinka is best known as a playwright. Alongside his literary career, he has also worked as an actor and in theaters in Nigeria and Great Britain.”
