Patience Oghre Imobhio, one of Nollywood’s most acclaimed directors, has been awarded the “Best Female Filmmaker 2024” at the prestigious Nigerian Week London 2024.
The Nigerian Week London, an annual international festival showcasing the best of Nigerian entertainment, culture, and business, is organized by SRTV London in partnership with various Nigerian and British organizations.
Imobhio, known for her exceptional directorial skills and captivating narratives, was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the Nigerian film industry. Her award-winning films have garnered critical acclaim both locally and internationally.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that my team and I have poured into our craft,” said Imobhio. “It is a celebration of the remarkable talent and creativity within the Nigerian film industry.”
The Nigerian Week London 2024 featured a diverse range of activities, including film, music, fashion, cultural displays, and trade exhibitions.
