Wishing Nigerian singer, composer and guitarist “Admiral” Dele Abiodun a happy birthday today [30 March, 1948]. Abiodun is considered to be one of the best juju musicians. Abiodun created a new style and used that in many of his performances. The new style of music that was created is known as Adawa, which in translation means Independent Being. Abiodun and his band released several LPs and singles in the early 70s and 80s.
