The much-anticipated Efficiency Award of Excellence (EAE) celebrated its 17th annual award ceremony , where luminaries from various fields were honored for their remarkable contributions to society. The event, hosted by the publisher of SB E-News, SB events magazine, Efficiency magazine and award convener, was a night to remember, paying tribute to those who have made a lasting impact on the nation.
Olutayo Orekoya: A Lifetime of Achievement
One of the night’s highlights was the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Omooba Olutayo Orekoya and his wife. This prestigious award was handed over by the Chairman of the occasion, Sir Steve Bamidele Omojafor OON, in recognition of their lifetime dedication and outstanding achievements.
Dr. Bobby Agwunobi: Icon of the Year
Dr. Bobby Agwunobi, a respectable international DJ and owner of Salt of the Earth Entertainment, received the Icon of the Year award alongside with his wife Dr Chioma R Agwunobi who also received Media icon of the year. He celebrated the recognition with his wife, Mrs. Chioma Agwunobi, and dedicated it to his loyal fans and those who nominated him for this honor. His contributions to the entertainment industry were hailed as transformative.
ASP Timothy Ayeni: Officer’s Icon of the Year
ASP Timothy Ayeni accepted the Officer’s Icon of the Year award on behalf of CP Aderemi Adeoye, Commissioner of Police, Anambra State. In his speech, he dedicated the award to the dedicated officers who tirelessly serve their country, safeguarding lives and property.
Sandeep Kumar and Christiana Koko: Outstanding Industry Contribution
Efficiency Award of Excellence EAE for the Most Outstanding Industry of the Year was conferred upon Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Marketing Director of Sona Group of Industry, and Miss Christiana Koko, the Media Director of Sona Group. Dr. Chioma Agwunobi presented the award, recognizing the organization’s exceptional efforts in meeting the needs of both Nigerians and the global community.
Elfreda Moradeyo Rowland: Music Icon of the Year
Elfreda Moradeyo Rowland, an artist, music producer, and actor, was crowned the Music Icon of the Year. Her influential presence in the entertainment industry over the last decade meritoriously earned her this accolade.
Dr. Eunice Efole: Recognizing Property Development
Dr. Eunice Efole was honored for her contributions to property development in the nation. Dr. Mike Cerruti, one of Africa’s most outstanding humanitarians, received the award on her behalf, emphasizing the honor of accepting it on behalf of such a reputable industrialist.
Sir Steve Bamidele Omojafor OON: Lifetime Achievement
The former Chairman of Zenith Bank, Sir Steve Bamidele Omojafor OON, received a Lifetime Achievement award. A renowned philanthropist across Africa, Sir Steve’s legacy was celebrated as he added another jewel to his crown.
Dr. Ikemefuna Ume-Ezeoke: Entrepreneurship Award
The Entrepreneurship Award of the Year was conferred upon Dr. Ikemefuna Ume-Ezeoke, MD/CEO of Homes and Homes Real Estate Solution Limited. Due to unavoidable absence, Miss. Godspower Ukpahiuojo received the award on his behalf.
High Chief Habeeb Olalekan Okunola: Entrepreneur Man of the Year
High Chief Habeeb Olalekan Okunola, MON, OFR, Iba Akosin of Yoruba Land, was represented by Mr. Mayowa Ladejo and received the Entrepreneur Man of the Year award.
Prof. Oladapo Ashiru: Dedication to Medicine and Fertility
Professor Oladapo Ashiru, President of the Academy of Medicine Specialties of Nigeria, was bestowed with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his dedication to the medical, fertility, and endocrinology fields.
Rita Geh: Lifetime Achievement Award for NDLEA
Director of Narcotics Rita Geh, Assistant Media Director of NDLEA Lagos, represented Brg Gen (Retd.) Muhammed Buba Marwa CON, Chairman of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award of Excellence.
Prince Aderemi: Posthumous Humanitarian of the Year
Prince Aderemi received the Posthumous Humanitarian Person of the Year award on behalf of the late Durojaiye Beyiokun Williams. The award was presented by Dr. Cerruti Osagie.
Barrister Onuoha: Award for Sustaining Justice
Barrister Onuoha received an lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of Prof. Chief Mike Ozekhome CON OFR PHD, a human rights and constitutional lawyer who has tirelessly fought for justice across the nation.
Iye Yetunde Akinfolarin: Interior Decorator of the Year
Iye Yetunde Akinfolarin, MD/CEO Timeless Interior Decoration, was honored with the Interior Decorator of the Year award.
Titilola Akimbo: Media Icon on Behalf of Dr. Seye Keinde
