Niger Delta political figure and activist, Asari Dokubo reportedly met with the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier today where he discussed certain things with Mr president, Ahmed Bola Tinubu. Top on the list of the discussions they had were issues of oil theft in the Niger Delta region and the issues of insecurity in the country.
While responding to question as to whether or not he(Asari) is working hand in hand with his brother, Tompolo, Asari Dokubo revealed that he is not on the same field with Tompolo. According to Asari, Tompolo is in charge of guiding oil pipelines while he is not.
Asari Dokubo had earlier in his speech alleged that the army and the navy are the ones responsible for oil theft in the Niger Delta region.
In his words “myself and Tompolo are not on the same field. He is guiding oil pipelines, I’m not”.
