A lawyer and political observer named Adebayo Adeolu says that Tinubu is doing the right thing by treading lightly throughout his bid for the presidency.
He said that he and Tinubu had both learned from the mistakes of MKO Abiola, who had been pressured into challenging the Military regime. He said that the events of 1993 had made Tinubu a more savvy strategist. If the President had understood, as the author suggests, that it is inappropriate to challenge those in authority.
