Among the esteemed attendees was Representatives of Lagos state governor and Kwara State governor, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who was recently re-elected in the just-concluded election. In his speech, he emphasized the significance of creating a symbol that would remind the nation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s transformative leadership.
Referring to him as “PBAT,” Obasa noted that President Tinubu had changed the narrative of governance in Lagos. He spoke from personal experience, acknowledging President Tinubu’s generosity and the positive impact it had on his life. Encouraging the audience to support the Emilokan fabric initiative, Obasa pledged his own patronage as a testament to his admiration for President Tinubu’s accomplishments. In an interview with Journalists, the host of the event, Dr. Abbey Jubril Onas, Chairman)CEO ZGM investment group of companies, General Trading LLC, expressed his belief that it was time for Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory, and the entire nation of Nigeria to appreciate and embrace President Tinubu’s efforts in liberating the country through democratic means. Dr. Onas commended President Tinubu’s achievements during his tenure as the Governor of Lagos State and endorsed his sagacity in becoming the President of the nation. He acknowledged President Tinubu’s vision and described him as a builder, a leader, and a mentor. Dr. Onas emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and prayer as Nigeria moved forward under President Tinubu’s leadership.
