On Wednesday, May 10th, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, through his counsel, Livy Uzoukwu informed the Election Tribunal that he and the counsel to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima have agreed to adjourn today’s pre-hearing session till next Wednesday, 17 May, since there are loads of processes yet to be filed, Arise TV reports.
According to Uzoukwu, the agreement is hinged on the fact that by 17th May, all the processes should be ripe for hearing.
Also speaking in one accord, counsels to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and Tinubu acknowledged reaching the unanimous agreement.

Mr Peter Obi had arrived the Presidential Election Petition Court on Wednesday ahead of the continuation of pre-hearing of his petition challenging the outcome of the February 25 Presidential Election.
Tinubu on other hand departed for France amid the pre-hearing.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress who doubles as President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, alongside Tunde Rahman, a Nigerian journalist, revealed more details on Mr Tinubu’s trip to France.
Tunde noted that Tinubu departed for France on a working visit.
Yesterday, the Action Alliance withdrew its petition against Tinubu at the commencement of the pre-hearing at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Monday in Abuja.
