PDP presidential candidate Alh. Atiku Abubakar made the statement through his Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, saying that the Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani Kayode had earlier called on the president of the United state, Joe Biden to congratulate Bola Ahmed Tinubu since the US State Department has sent their congratulatory message. Saying there is a need for the US president to voice out as both nations shared some historic relationship.
Phrank Shaibu revealed that the statement made by Fani Kayode is a remark of evidence of desperation. Saying that after they had benefitted from the fraudulent act of the election, Tinubu and his ilk are still running from one place to another begging the Western Power to recognize the president-elect. He added several media houses both local, international, and European Union observers have questioned the credibility of the presidential election and yet the APC wants a stamp of approval on it.
“After being the beneficiary of the worst and most fraudulent election in the history of Nigeria, Tinubu and his ilk are now running from pillar to post, begging Western powers to recognize Tinubu. This is the height of desperation”.
