LAGOS – As the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections hold on Saturday, nine registered political parties that are members of IPAC and Forum of Political Parties in Lagos State (FPP), an umbrella body of both Registered and Deregistered political parties on Thursday endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, for the second term.
Prince Adewale Samson, Pioneer Organising Secretary of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Lagos State, who announced on Thursday through a statement after a crucial meeting in Lagos, described the barrage of endorsements as a testimony to the great work the governor and his deputy had been doing for the advancement of the state.
Disclosing that Sanwo-Olu had in appreciation, promised to run an all-inclusive government in his second term, Samson also stated that the IPAC’s Directorate’s engagement with other political parties and groups had yielded a lot of progress and results as could be seen from the plethora of endorsements the governor had received so far.

He added: “We can reliably and authoritatively say that victory is assured for the hardworking governor on Saturday. The nine parties in the endorsement are APM, APP, PRP, NRM, ACCORD and others and the governor has promised to run an all-inclusive government in his second term.
“I cannot finish this statement without mentioning some of the worthy strides and laudable achievements of our dear governor in the past four years.
“He has stayed consistent on his THEMES Agenda, and some of those worthy of mentioning here now are The Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Biggest Rice Mill in Africa in Imota, Blue and Light Rail, Revolution in the Transport, Education and Health System, etc.
“As we leave here today we shall continue to be speaking loudly and to our teeming members and supporters to go all out on Saturday and vote for the Incident Commander, Talk and Do Governor, A Humane and Caring Leader and make sure that we Re-elect him as governor thro day.
“Worthy of mention is the well-our national leader, we want to officially congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the well-deserved Victory as President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We shall continue to work and support the APC government and its policies in the State of Excellence.
“Again our unalloyed support, solidarity and endorsement is for the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as the governor of Lagos State.”
