The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) hereby announces its endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the 2027 General Election in the interest of our great nation, Nigeria.
This decision is based on our conviction that national interest must always take precedence over partisan politics. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated confidence in our leader, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, whose outstanding performance in transforming Abuja has earned widespread recognition. The numerous infrastructural projects and developmental initiatives executed under his leadership have positively impacted the lives of Nigerians.
As witnessed during the recent FCT Area Council elections, where our candidates stepped down in support of the APC, we believe the same spirit of cooperation and patriotism should be extended to the 2027 General Election for the progress, stability, and unity of our nation.
We acknowledge President Tinubu’s ongoing economic reforms and development agenda. While these reforms have required sacrifice, we believe they are aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria. We therefore consider it appropriate to support the President in seeking a second term to consolidate these efforts.
Accordingly, we call on all PDP members, supporters, and stakeholders across the country to join hands in supporting the APC-led administration at all levels and to work towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
We also express our sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our leader, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for their commitment to national development and the remarkable transformation taking place in the Federal Capital Territory.
As we move forward together, let us reaffirm our commitment:
“On your mandate we shall stand, Bola. On your mandate we shall stand.”
